My Story

Christopher Fausto Cabrera is a published writer, artist & social justice advocate fighting to correct his sentence. He is entering his 20th year of incarceration where he focused on his rehabilitation through art, writing, Restorative Justice & community building. His continued incarceration is doing a disservice to society by negating his potential. Here are some of his accomplishments while in prison. Imagine what he could be doing to repair the harm once he is released. Cabrera is already an active participate in many social justice movement’s, community organizations & academic circles. He is asking for your support in his push for immediate release.

*The Washington Post Magazine’s November 2019 issue featured my art on the cover & an essay that won an award for best individual issue.
